Should We Be Concerned
With 'Green Living'?

Green Living - It's a huge topic of conversation these days!

Everyone's jumping on the green bandwagon - from big businesses and major car companies, to small families and individuals.

And, this trend isn't likely to end!

But, as Christians, we need to make sure we have the right motivation to 'go green.'

It's not about worshiping the environment (some call "Mother Earth"), but rather focusing on how God wants us to treat His creation.

It's also about stewardship - taking care of the resources that God has entrusted to us.

Ray and I started by making small, steady changes...

~ We switched to energy efficient CFL light bulbs.

~ We cut down on our water and power usage.

~ We switched to green cleaning products for our home.

~ We stopped buying paper towels, and switched to reusable washcloths.

~ We switched Joshua to cloth diapers & training pants.

~ We started recycling.

~ And, now we are starting to buy more organic foods & products.

We made most of these changes to save money, to reduce our waste, and to reduce our exposure to toxic chemicals and pesticides.
